Pick-Up Procedures

Kindergarten: Exit the building through the nearest exit at the end of the hallway.
1st & 2nd Grades: Exit the building through their classroom doors.

3rd - 6th Grades: Exit through the main doors.

Procedure

  • Each paraprofessional and on-duty teacher should have a megaphone.
  • Two paraprofessionals and one on-duty teacher should have a walkie-talkie.
  • Mrs. Mann, Mr. McVey, or another designated person will be in the driver's side lane to ask parents which student they need. The staff member will then call the student’s name and grade over the walkie-talkie.
  • The paraprofessionals and duty teachers will call the student’s name. Students will wait on the sidewalk and then walk to the zone where their car is located.

Student Seating

  • Students will sit in their designated spots until called.
  • They will line up in the order called, in Zones 1-4 respectively.
  • If a student has a younger sibling, they should sit with their sibling.
